rtv film production and marketing, Inc.

rfilm was initially part of the Turkish industry giant, Raks Holding's Entertainment Group which was incorporated in 1964, as "rtv". rtv has introduced the home video rights, epecially Warner Bros. titles into the Turkish market since 1989.

With the proliferation of private TV stations in Turkey, rtv has started the distribution of film and TV productions in 1992, introducing Discovery and Nickelodeon channels to Turkey in 1997. The company was bought in 1998 by one of the shareholders to form "rfilm". Rfilm, appropriating rtv's archive, added distribution of cinema films to its business line. With the cooperation of rfilm, strategic media planning and purchasing company "Mediamax" has been incorporated in 2001 as the distributor of Fox TV in Turkey. Mediamax is also the Turkish representative of MPG - Media Planning Group, part of Spanish HAVAS, since 2003.

rfilm is a member of SESAM (Turkish Film Producers Professional Association) and WAEA (World Airline Entertainment Association).

rfilm has an archive of about 3000 hours of movie films and TV programs.
